I would like to respond by saying that I have heard about this "Cruise" (yes folks a Cruise)  that was taken by our Sheriff, his Secretary, and the Head Jailer.  I heard that this was a "Jailers Convention" so to speak, and everyone knows what conventions are. 

I have heard from more than one person in the sheriff's department that the Sheriff's secretary has gone with him on more than one occasion to school.  Makes you wonder doesn't it, why a secretary needs to attend school with the Sheriff.  Is the secretary to the Sheriff a secretary, or not.  If she is a secretary, then why is she going on trips to school with the Sheriff. 

I don't know about all the other taxpayers out there, but I do not appreciate the Sheriff's secretary attending school on my tax dollars, when the school she is attending is not a job that she does in the Sheriff's Department.  From my dealings with her she is more a part of the "good ole boy network" than a secretary anyway. 

If the Sheriff would just be a Sheriff, and do what is right according to law it would be great.  But, now we hear he and his Secretary are taking trips together on County Taxpayers expense.

And....  Yes county vehicles are for county business only.  It opens up the county to lawsuit if something happens, and one of his family members is hurt or killed.  We had this discussion about Joseph Hausler a few years ago when I saw him riding his kids around in the Precinct 4 Commissioners vehicle.  This is a violation of policy, but as we all know these officials could give a DAMN about policy, or the taxpayers backside when it comes to lawsuits.

By the way,  I hear in the next Sheriff's race our choices are going to be "Tim Shimpock", "Terry Reed", and "Mark Perkins".  Hey Everyone,  with those choices, I hate to say it, but I am going to have to choose "Terry Reed."

All I can Say is "God, Please give us some new blood in this county to run for Sheriff,  We sure need it!!!     AMEN!!!"
