Please with-hold name in ref to the comment made by the ex-Sheriff's office employee. Looks like the citizens of Red River county better like what has ---and what will continue to go on in the jail because word is --that Bridges is keeping Reed on as the jailer administrator or some kind of "special?" deputy. But I would lay down money.. the Sheriff will be hired as Jail Administrator, where he can continue to do as he has done for the last few years----NOTHING!!! (z-z-z-z-z-z) As for the female inmates having to drink shower water, I hope one day soon, Terry Reed has to lap water out of the toilet like a dog. As for sex in the jail..  The whole damn building oughtta to be disinfected with some Heavy-Duty Lysol. Just sign me, " Can't believe the ignorance "

Responding to the letter about Bridges. This is just what we need in office some arrogant so-so that won't do the work that's needed. If he thinks he can find out how you voted let him cause it's really none of his business and that's why we live in America. We don't have to explain why we voted any certain way. Personally I'm tired of being told what I can and can't do, aren't you? If he doesn't want to do the work of sheriff WHY IS HE RUNNING FOR SHERIFF???? People we don't need another sheriff in office that doesn't work nor doesn't do right by each person. Treat people like people instead of animals, and when something goes wrong at least show a little interest in finding the problem what ever it might be OR whom ever it might be. RED RIVER COUNTY more reason to VOTE ROYCE ABBOTT as the new sheriff of RR Cnty. Get out and vote we don't need Bridges or his kind in any office of RR Cnty, nor do we need his money (nor his father-in-law-s money isn't Bridges' money), he's like myself not a pot to pee in nor window to through it out of, unless Larry Townes pays for it. So RR Cnty show them we are putting ABBOTT in the sheriff's position at RED RIVER COUNTY. May God continue to bless this county with a working sheriff with working deputies (that knows the law). I am a former employee of the Red River Co. SO and I was basically fired for not kissing butt. The so-called attractive jailer who had intercourse with a federal inmate didn't like, me so Terry Reed gave me the boot. Kristen Manginell was the pathetic jailer who couldn't get a date on her on so she went behind bars. I worked there for two months before I even got a good look at Terry Reed, so I would love to know what he was getting paid for because he was not at work. I was fired because I wouldn't kiss butt and I didn't believe in treating the inmates like crap!! If an inmate was sick, Terry Reed would get mad if the nurse said to take them to the hospital. Larry Spangler cut out giving the female inmates a pitcher of water at lunch time. What type of crap is that?? We were told to tell them to get it out of the shower. I bet Terry and Larry don't drink from the shower!!!!

In the last few days have spoken with some of Bridge's friends. One stopped us and told us he was voting for Bridges because Bridges could bring a lot of money to our county. We were amazed at what he was saying. In other words, he was voting for Bridges because of money. Another said "Bridges is not interested in being Sheriff. He is more interested in his ego. Said he was arrogant and we have talked to people who know him and they say that fits him to the tee. Even classmates say this. I also ask the question if they thought Bridges could put the campaign behind him and do what is right by all citizens and they doubted it. They feel he will carry a grudge all the way. In other words, if he knows you did not vote for him, you have had it. Right? That is very scary.

I am sorry that you could not find anyone in this whole damn county to help you. I was hoping that the "honorable judge shelly benton" would help you. What a shame that she has turned out to be another "impotent figurehead " when it comes to administering and respecting the laws of the land, much like our no account Sheriff, Terry Reed. What a crying shame it is, when a man drives all the way from Mississippi to pick up his daughter for a court ordered---visitation....only to be told that he cannot have his daughter because the moron stepfather, who has a God Complex doesn't feel like turning her over. You do have some consolation though John, she knows you love her enough to drive this far to get her and I'm sure she knows they are the ones who refuse to let her see you. And if she doesn't hate them now, she will John and you can take that to the bank. Right now, like most, I am ashamed of this place and the fact that there isn't one person in this whole county with a set of balls to stand up to the moron. You would think at least one of the judges or our worthless county attorney would sit Reed down and have a serious talk with him about his "over stepping" his authority and those delusions of grandeur he has. After all, Terry Reed makes every elected official in Red River County look bad. Don't know what else to say John, but hang in there. Just keep telling your daughter how much you love her and things will work out. People who play games like this usually end up having them backfire on them and you can take that one to the bank too John.

In reference to: God moves mountains I am so tired of reading about Bridges having a background in Ju-Jitsu! That guy can't possibly have been schooled in Ju-Jitsu! Unless he was a failure in that too! He doesn't have the confidence , stance or carry himself in any resemblance of the training! Yes, I would know! I was schooled by a wonderful little lady in Arizona in the late 60's and continued for over 10 years. It was only lawfully taught then in Arizona and New Mexico! Only recently in the other states! Mostly Brazilian style is taught now, which is more grappling than what I was taught (Budashen style) which is more nerve techniques. He carries himself more like a victim than a warrior, I mean...you give the guy a microphone and you still can't hear him, he stands there with his shoulders slumped and head down , won't look at the people in the eyes...more like he is ashamed of himself! On his website he has posted" responsible use of marijuana" as a law officer how can he say that or even think such a thing...isn't that a conflict of interest since he is supposed to up hold the laws of the country! To me drugs of any type was a NO-NO in Ju-Jitsu! We were trained to be aware of our surroundings at all times and if you are under the influence of drugs you are hindered which is defeating your training! anyway, he is a joke!

Well you are right there doesn't seem to be a lawyer or judge willing to help me so far in Red River. I must say until now I have always believed in the court system. It is truly a dark day when the smart people ( lawyers Judges etc.) are afraid of a sloppy built racist Hill Billy like terry reed. I've been dealing with this bastard for many years. Some of the shit they (terry and his petty thief wife oh yeah she has a rap sheet that a hardened criminal would admire) teach my daughter is just for the lack of a better term "SCREWED UP". So its election time just remember my story or you may be the next father, mother, grandmother with no rights in that county or as I was told today there are political laws and there are street laws and it is election time sorry but you are a victim of political laws. Your babies step-daddy is one BIG cause of this great big CESSPOOL in which we live.  I can only imagine how you felt when you came to get your child, and law enforcement was going to help UNTIL THEY FOUND OUT WHO'S HOUSE YOU WERE GOING TO! That is the way things are done here.  He has burnt every bridge here in this county and that's why he did not run for sheriff.  He is one BIG FAT disgrace to this county and to law enforcement.  He is a LIAR, and a THIEF! I wish you much luck, but I'm sorry you aren't getting anywhere here. Go outside the cty, Bowie, and Lamar to find a judge and lawyer and maybe then you'll get something done. Help:

I had the pleasure of being denied my parental rights today by your beloved sheriff. I happened upon your site while looking for some info. on your county sheriff and thought maybe you could help. My daughter is terry's step-daughter and as you probably know the kids are on spring break this week. I have custody of her all week because I live in Mississippi. The custody papers state I have to provide transportation 1 way because Susan (terry's wife) got "knocked up" and drug my daughter more than 100 miles from original address. So after driving 8 hrs. Susan said if I don't bring her back home she can't go, of course I said no but I will bring her to Dallas you can pick her up there. Then I was told she can't go. I called the Clarksville police dept. and then the Sheriff dept. both were more than willing to help until I told them who I was dealing with. Even though I could provide legal docs. to prove I was telling the truth. terry met me at the door and said he was the law in Red River County and basically told me to leave and called some of his "good ole" boys to remove me from his yard. I was told in the process there was a Judge working that day, this would be the only person who could help out. When I asked to talk to her I was told sorry you just missed her maybe you can come back tomorrow. So now I have to find an attorney or a Judge that is willing to help me. Do you possibly know some one who can help?

Re: God moves Mountains...You are so right about what you say and I pray people are listening. This webmaster has taken some of the worst abuse (from people of power in this county) of anyone I have known and it was not him speaking.. It was voters of this county. People who claim to be cops are on the internet almost around the clock and have said they are ALL going to fight hard to keep Mr. Abbott out. So when will they fight? { When they are supposed to be on the time clock!} The county officials have no one to blame but themselves for the reputation this County has which most of us realize has been that way since before Ernie's time. The city secretary in Avery has called all of us liars when she said everything on here is lies. Even when it has been documented. And why would they want to keep Mr. Abbott out? Because he will stop the corruption, the lawlessness of our county officials, sex playhouse and rape in the county jail and those officers are going to have to go to work for the people who pay their wages, etc. etc. etc. Bridges has not stood for one thing at all. He has no platform except jujitzu, Citizens Police Academy (needs to get the sheriff office straight first). Not many even know who he is because he has ran on nothing except thousands of signs and pictures of himself in the newspapers which say nothing about where he stands. People have been out working for him like cops and people in the power. You know---you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours---but don't you trust that people. Bridges has not even mentioned the unsolved murders. And that is what we want--we want someone to pursue that and see if they can solve any of them. It is never too late like the present administration wants us to believe. It happens all the time all over this nation. Lynn, you called me a liar and I have never met you...So from what vantage point do you speak from? You are agreeing with those in the wrong and so that makes you just as bad as them.

First of all Nicole, Ernie is not a piece of garbage, *&x@$$& or a nutcase. If you are not blind? I suggest that you compare the picture on Bridge's web site and the one on Ernie's web site. If your eyesight is as good as it seems to be, it's PLAIN to see that Ernie has covered up a lot more of the SWAT-TEAM'S rear than BRIDGES. I might suggest that you compare the two yourself. OH! and by the way, every intelligent reader on this site knows that GARBAGE IS A CESSPOOL HEAVEN for breeding MAGGOTS. Maggots produce FLIES and FLIES get SWATTED. Mr. Abbott is the only candidate who ANSWERED every question asked on this site. He also answered every question he was asked at every forum. Bridges to my knowledge has not responded to any question anywhere at any time. So Nicole I ask you, What kind of platform is your man standing on? Could it be a CESSPOOL? I just read the Paris News article about the City of Reno and the woman who was arrested for missing funds. It made me think of how we (people in Red River County) cannot even get any questions answered, or complete audits of past years, audits of the Sheriff dept and a quarter million of over the budget spending. Where did that money go at the Sheriff Dept? Or what was it spent on? Especially when the officers have to use other county uniforms because Red River County cannot afford it. I have heard many residents ask the question of why Val Varley has not prosecuted on the credit card abuse? If they are using the money amount, then why has Judge Harville not done anything about that? We know we don't get our answers, but want to ask again. Unauthorized use of a credit card is not serious within this county! Makes one wonder what else has been overlooked in the finances of this county. I am glad we have two new county commissioners. As we all know, they don't just represent their district, but they represent this whole county when it comes to handling our taxpayer money. And we are questioning at all of them and how they handle our money. Rape in the County Jail, sexual philandering, racial profiling, gender and age discrimination. And Bridges has not spoken out against any of this. He stands for nothing except jujitzu and cage fighting. Didn't Reno use "abuse of official capacity" and the Texas Rangers were involved. Why not in Red River County? They could get several on that. And would like to question if "Nicole" who wrote you that note, even lives in Texas? If not, she does not know the laws here.

Nicole's note to you was just another twist of the Bridge's camp. Blaming the webmaster for what others write is pure stupidity. At least, we have the sense to know Ernie covered up more on that pic than was shown on Bridge's site! I don't agree with the racial profiling or the smoking marijuana responsibly either on that site. People are smart enough to decide for themselves about the pictures on Bridge's site. There have been people convicted of far less than that right here in Red River County AND the jury was explained from an Austin source that it was pornography. I was privy to a case on jury screening where this happened. Personally I felt Bridge's site was very degrading to women. It proves where his mind is...and it ain't here in Red River County....AND MY NAME IS NOT ERNEST HENSLEE.

After reading the web pages I hope I can say something that will help people see what each and everyone that doesn't vote for Mr. Abbott in the run off election are doing to our county and the father of our children and grandchildren.  Now it's my understanding that a lot of people don't vote for Mr. Abbott because they have issues concerning Mr. Mark Lesher and the Avery dump ground.  Ok now if a person will allow such an excuse as that be the reason not to vote in an honest honorable man that can and will change this down hill slide the county has been on for such a long while, then what kind of person are they?  People you have a once in a lifetime chance to bring the guilty parties to justice and if you don't vote Mr. Abbott in as our Sheriff I promise you haven't seen any injustice as to what you might in the future . I know by marriage one of Larry Townes grandchildren are very much a grandchild of a Boxelder couple. And I know Robert Bridges and his brothers as well as his brother Ricky Travillion, For so many people claiming to be Christians in this county , how has the devil and his angels taken over? Think about it people ! According to the King James Bible one that will not hold up for what is right then your no better than the ones committing these crimes , You know it teaches that murders will not enter Heaven.  Does many of us in this county hope to make Heaven our new home?  We first have to be honest with ourselves. Look at who you have put in the position to be over not only yourself but your children also.  And I thought ole Shimpock made it pretty plain { I love Red River Co. } yet hopes His grandchild can get out of here? Why Tim?  If we all loved Alton Peek and honestly cared for other's lives that have been taken from them and the pure hell they're family's have gone through because of never getting to say good bye to that loved one { put yourself in that family's place and you being human you would honestly want justice done } so let's all that honestly believe in God and want to have an honest person elected as our next Sheriff Ask for God's help according to his will for Mr. Abbott } Don't do as others do but talk to God and listen to your heart,  This is one thing we can all do for the ones we love and the ones we have lost through death .God makes a way where there is no way for man and moves all the stumbling blocks that is hindering the path of truth .

Just wanted to let you that you are really doing a good job on making the site look GREAT! I know it will take a lot of time to get it all done but I believe it will be worth the effort. I think eliminating the anonymous comments will be a big PLUS for your site bring forth many more comments to your site. I also think it will stop most if not all of the POWER SEEKERS from calling us well informed & intelligent readers "DUMB IDIOTS". The power seekers should really be scared now that there is a runoff because they have nobody to offset the votes in their favor. This is going to be a different runoff than the last one and I think the SWAT TEAM leader is in for a big surprise. I belive that the SWAT TEAM leader is going to get SWATED not only by Royce Abbott but the voters as well.
