Do You Remember??? 12/30/2009 This Article that was written back on 1/24/2008 I have been asked why I am remaining silent with all the goings on in Rail Road County. The reason is that I am amazed that this is going on..... almost speechless. All of a sudden we have the City Secretary of Avery, Texas Lynn Stephenson indicted by the Grand Jury for embezzlement of city funds. This alone is a huge step forward in the interest of justice. Finally..... Finally.... Mayor Bill Trimm needs to be really scrutinized in this, because he signed the checks for her to do it. If he is not totally involved in the process, the people of the city of Avery need to take a long look at his "Stupidity", and yes he is "Stupid". Isn't it amazing that she is still working at City Hall when she stands indicted for embezzlement of City Funds. Doesn't speak much of the City Council of the City of Avery, nor the Mayor. The citizens on the other hand are up in arms over this little fopa!!!! Good for all of you that are speaking out!!!! The fact that no one wants to sit on the City Council, and they don't even have enough councilmen to form a quorum to do business speaks volumes about the "Integrity" of the Council and the City and the way that they are doing business. Then there is the special investigation of Valerie Varley in his capacity..... Holy cow, it was brought about by District Judge Eric Clifford. What a huge step forward in the interest of justice and the people of Red River County. I am so proud of Judge Clifford, and his honest initiatives to move this county's justice system in a positive direction. I want to say a huge "Thank You" to District Judge Eric Clifford for his honesty and performance in the interest of the people. "Thank You" "Thank You" "Thank You" Next. I have heard rumors that there was a Grand Jury convened today to indict the Richardson's again, and even Mark Lesher for some bullshit that District Judge John Miller and Valerie cooked up. I don't exactly know all the particulars of this, but I have been told that the Grand Jury did not fall for the plot, and no billed 4 of 8 cases presented. What a huge and positive step in Red River County for a Grand Jury to no bill 50% of the cases brought before it. I hope that this is an indication that future Grand Juries, including this one are listening to what is being presented and weeding out the bullshit Rail Road tactics of our "Criminal" County Attorney Val Varley, and District Judge John Miller. What a great way to end, and start out the year 2009, and 2010 respectively. I am overjoyed that progress can be seen, whether anything comes of it or not. I will try to write more later, as I gather my thoughts on all the progress for the people of Red River County that is happening, and has happened over the past few weeks. May God bless the one and only "Honest" official and the "Honest" citizens of Red River County! Isn't it about time?

I have no problem with anyone who is gay/bi. I have had, and still have gay/bi friends in Dallas and Garland who I have known all my life. They are just as good of friends as any, and in some ways better. What I do not like is a corrupt politician that gives anyone who is gay/bi a bad name because they think that they are above the law, is corrupt, and hides in the closet to make people think they are better than anyone else. The only thing that makes anyone better than anyone else is honesty over corruption, and corruption can be changed by becoming honest. I just call um like I see um after that.

(Corruption in the County Justice System) Thursday April 2, 2009 Once upon a time there was a man and several of his friends who thought because they were law officials they could get away with breaking the law. They thought they were the law (Val Varley and his cronies). They have done everything illegal they wanted to, thinking since the town was so small they could keep everything out of the view of our government and the people. This man works for the state and you know he also works for the people. This man's job is to build a case without prejudice (color), protect the people by investigating crimes that are committed (not make up crimes), taking information that the police and investigators bring him (not planting it), and not to be in the same place the alleged crime happened (like he was). This is a true conflict of interest and he's not exercising the LAW. Can this be done? Yes, but not in Red River County. How can we expect justice to happen in Clarksville when crimes are committed by our elected officials? We have people living here who are considered prominent in this town, whether it's the owner of a local business, Mayor, and/or the Preachers of the churches. If you are not the solution to the problem then you have to be the problem. What I'm trying to say is, let's stand up to those that are not following the rule of law because we as taxpayers are about to be out a lot of money. We need to demand that Val Varley stop sending our kids to jail, and covering up mistakes that are made by him and his cronies. The search warrants that are issued are like rubber stamps written by Donald Duck. We need to stop Val from pushing the illegal PLEAS down our citizen's throats because he offers them (defendants) no way out. Loyal citizens are punished excessively because they are sold out by the DA, the officers, and their attorneys. The accused citizens have no clue that they have been set up. I am not saying that all of the people the police arrest are innocent, but I am saying that even they are innocent until proven guilty. If you don't have what it takes to convict someone, either go with what you have or just leave them alone. There is no such thing as fairness in Clarksville. I will provide you the proof and more information in my next letter. TO BE CONTINUED Debra Richardson Editorial Comment: If all of you were watching yesterday you saw the charges and conviction have been dropped against the Senator from Alaska Ted Stevens (R) because a rush to just us by the Bush Department of Justice, withheld vital information from the defense. This is something that has happened in Red River County Just Us under the direction of Val Varley. He could care less about the people of this county, and screws people around all the time with plea bargains that are presented as one thing, and actually turn out to be something else. The County Defense attorney Dan Meehan, and Val Varley are in bed together when it comes to plea bargains, and are only out for themselves. Varley's conviction rate brings more money from the state. We all know that this group in our system loves money, and will do anything and everything to anyone who is not in their "circle" to get it. \ |

The Corruption of Val Varley Strikes another youth! When are the people of this county going to wake up and do something about the waste laid on our youth by a Corrupt Justice System?
Dear Editor, I would like to state a few things to the public of Clarksville, Texas concerning the current DA, Val Varley the Red River Sheriff Department, and the Clarksville City Police Department. These three departments of justice are ran by elected officials trusted by the citizens, and paid for by community tax dollars are all working in conjunction to manipulate, mislead, and corrupt the justice system put in place to protect the people who entrust them to protect and serve their homes, children, and communities. It is a complete disrespect of the people who live in this town and county to the laws of the land and the rights of the people therein that were paid for through blood, sweat, and tears of soldiers, freedom fighters, and Christian concerned Americans. Due to all of the corrupt procedures and misconduct, life in Clarksville seems to still be in the era of the Jim Crow law system. Recently Val Varley indicted a former Clarksville High School athletic stand out sport star, and student on drug charges. Hobbs was indicted with the same grand jury members as Mark Lesher and the Richardson’s. He claimed to have video proof of a drug deal carried out by the sport star with a convicted felon drug abuser. Trusted knowledge of this video tape has explained that there was no more than a casual conversation taken place between Mr. Lonta Hobbs, and Nikki Jackson (the felon in question). Mr. Hobbs has stated that after seeing trustworthy friends and the felon herself ready to testify on behalf of DA Val Varley’s case, his legal advisor told him his options and gave him the option to take a plea at hand. Hobbs stated that at first he said no, questioned his legal advisor Michael Mosher, at which point Michael Mosher returned a large portion of his legal retainer fee. Hobbs then stated that with the thought of the situation at hand, he decided while feeling defenseless, that his only option was to take the plea of 4 months in jail; not knowing he was taking a 10 year sentence offered by Val Varley. Topix continues to fight....... March 1, 2009 Everyone should go and get a copy of the Sunday March 1, 2009 edition of the Texarkana Gazette and read the article by Lynn LaRowe entitled "Topix suit continues" on the lower right front page. This article states in detail what is occurring in the ongoing civil suit filed by Mark and Rhonda Lesher against 178 John and Jane Doe's. What it does not state.... Negotiations between Topix and the Lesher's legal team has been ongoing. Since the beginning, Topix has stated its concern that producing the required data is a burdensome process. Topix did state as it is reported that it would take a single employee 40 hours per week for nearly two months to produce the records requested. What was left out of the story is that the Lesher team upon receiving this information in the letter of negotiation from Topix which stated it would cost the website nearly eight thousand dollars, is that a check for the entire amount was sent to Topix for the required work. Why is CEO Chris Tolles still contending that the burden is too heavy? The case is gaining national attention. ABC affiliate WFAA in Dallas first ran the story about the suit. Since that time, it has been picked up by ABC News parent company in New York which ran the story on their website. Now other ABC entities dealing with Prime Time television reporting are looking at the story, and making contacts. This publicity makes CEO Tolles see dollar signs in the form of advertising for his Topix site. As long as Topix continues to fight a struggle which it probably will not win, it will gain a share of advertising dollars, and publicity that will benefit them. Calculated strategies such as this are played out every day for advertising dollars and publicity, and it is believed that this strategy by Tolles is another of them. This case is the largest civil case involving this many anonymous posters that has been filed in the United States for Internet Slander and Liable. This is the reason for national interest. There have been two others that were fought, and the vale of anonymity lifted and the posters identified. This case will probably take the same avenue in the legal system due to precedence. These other cases were then fought and won in civil suits, and the posters were levied with heavy judgments that will follow them in their financial portfolios until they are paid in full. In the present Topix gains share in the market, and advertising dollars.

This Story Rated "R" due to Graphic Language, Parental Discretion is Advised. February 25, 2009 It tells all of us something when "Freedom of Speech" is not allowed in Red River County. Today the sign "Remove Varley From Office Now" was removed due to the owner of the property that this billboard is located on complained to the advertising company that he found it "Offensive". It seems that the contract for the signage contains a clause that allows the owner of the property to decide what he considers "offensive." It just goes to show that in Red River County a certain "Chosen Few" can tell the rest of us what is "allowed" as "Freedom of Speech", and what is "not allowed" as "Freedom of Speech". The owner called the sign company and exercised the contract. Now, I am all for the "Letter of the Law".... and what is right. In this case, I find the owner of the property "Offensive", (and probably part of the problem rather than part of the solution) because it goes to show that Varley cannot stand up in the light of day and be scrutinized for what he truly is. He is a "COCKROACH" that runs when the light is turned on to hide in the darkest recesses of his own criminal activity. Varley uses his "good ole boy" network to protect him. Poor Baby, has to use his buddies to fend for him. Everyone who is descent and law abiding in this county knows that "Val Varley is a Criminal" that uses his powers of office, and prosecutorial discretion to maliciously prosecute and persecute his "perceived enemies", which then become his victims. The only way he realizes a criminal is because they are all buddies, and he lets them get away with anything. You know the old saying about Red River County? No? Well, "You can tell who the criminals are in Red River County because their are either Elected to Office or, They are wearing Badges and Guns!!!!! Varley is a "Chip off the Old Block" if you know who and what I am talking about. They are interchangeable. They broke the manure mold when he was made. Come to think of it they used the manure when he was made. Varley thinks that he is "above the law", and that he can do exactly as he pleases. Well, so far he has, and he might continue to be able to do so for a while, but Varley's day is coming and he will be held accountable for his spineless criminal actions. Val Varley is and will continue to be a criminal. No matter what he tries to do to keep it from being brought out into the open, and no matter who his friends are, or what actions they take everyone knows what your are Varley, and sooner or later you are going down. I intend to be there on the day you are stripped of your power, and brought to justice. You deserve to be in Prison Varley, (If the rumors are true, you would LOVE it!) and I know that if the "Good Lord is Willing" you will make it there. Either that or you will burn in HELL!!! Varley has hired ex-sheriff Terry gReed as another Investigator. Varley needed to hire someone, because he did not have an investigator to start with, although he is so stupid he does not realize that he still does not have an investigator! Terry Reed is another criminal that has stolen from the victims of crime, and the taxpayers of Red River County. He chose not to run for Sheriff again because he knew he could not be elected, but now is being "slopped from the taxpayer trough" again by the shenanigans of our "Criminal" County Attorney Val Varley. Yeah, I know that he is being paid from the drug fund, but I don't think that what they are doing is really legal. Besides, that money belongs to the taxpayers to fight drugs not feed Pigs!!! I heard Varley tell Reed after the closing arguments in Collin County that he needed him there to testify in the Punishment Phase of the trial. Like Varley had a "Cold Chance in Hell" after his so called "Victim" admitted that she lied to two grand juries, and was caught in many numerous lies on the witness stand. You haven't seen "Ole Val" bring any perjury charges on "One Heartless Bitch with the Devil and his Pitch Fork in its place!" Just goes to show that Varley is a "Corrupt Bastard that is Bought and Paid for!" I heard his case was over after that, but he said he was "Painted into a Corner", and could not stop now. Poor Baby had Jerry Coyle breathing fire on one side, and Jim Dick Lovett on the other. These are two more of his criminal buddies!!! Varley, gReed, and Perkins. What I want to know Varley, are we as taxpayers paying by the pound? I also want to know if you all share panties by Perkins? These three "so called law enforcement officers of the court" are a disgrace to all of us, and the descent law abiding citizens of Red River County. Terry Reed wasn't a sheriff when he was sheriff. He was a criminal then and he is a criminal now. Reed was not an investigator then, and never will be an investigator. The only way he solved anything was it fell in his lap, or he and his buddy Val, and Bobble Head concocted it out of thin air. Of course we all know that Val Varley is not a prosecutor, HE'S A CRIMINAL IDIOT, and Perkins...... Perkins is a wanna be "Panty Sheriff" who wants to show people the State of Texas Kiddie Porn collection on disk.
Think about Val, Perkins and Reed ........... Makes you think of three "Criminal Stooges" doesn't it?? Sleep well tonight folks knowing that "Freedom of Speech" is protected, and that Varley, Perkins, and gReed are on the job, and awake! Petition to Remove Val Varley from Office Being Circulated This is a Petition to Remove Val Varley from office. If you feel the same as we do, that he has abused his prosecutorial discretion, and persecuted the people of this county rather than putting the "CRIMINALS" that are his friends behind bars. If you feel that he shows favoritism, rather than prosecuting those that need to be prosecuted, then he has committed official misconduct. Official misconduct is by the law, an offence that warrants removal. If you feel that he has let the criminals go by not doing the proper investigation whether through the sheriff's department, or using his investigator and doing the proper investigations to put the criminals behind bars rather than putting the victims behind bars like he does now, and does not know how to spend the taxpayer dollars on "expert" witnesses that are licensed to practice in the State of Texas rather than using the proper "experts" that may not be in his favor, that is Incompetence. And Now You Know The Rest of the Story! Sunday January 18, 2008 As all of you now know the trial in Collin County was decided by a 12 member jury made up of intelligent just, and honest people. They listened to the case put forth by RR County Attorney Val Varley, and came to a unanimous decision; as revealed by the poll of the judge after the verdict of "Not Guilty". They sent the message to Val Varley that he was totally and completely wrong, and that he had absolutely no evidence of any kind to prove any of the charges or allegations that were brought against Rhonda, Mark, or Robert. One of the Jurors after court adjourned told a member of the defense team exactly what I told you above that there was NO EVIDENCE. Once all the information is relayed to you by this website you will realize what I am about to tell to you. I will tell you that you may not agree with me at this time, but you will after all the information which is going to take some time to get scanned in, sorted, and posted to the site so that you can see the documentation, and can then realize that what I am about to tell you is true. This case was brought by Varley on the false and totally purgered testimony of Shannon Coyle, and was concocted by Jerry Coyle in an effort to save Jim Dick Lovett. I can only imagine what Coyle told Shannon that he would do to her if she did not go along. We do know that at one time he for sure threatened to have her Jailed, and Raped by a Black man while she was there. He could have easily accomplish this threat with the help of his friend Chief Deputy Larry Spangler. Varley decided with the help of Jerry Coyle to attempt to destroy the lives of two of the best people that I have met in this county. Why did he do this you ask? It was because of the Complaint that was drawn up for Shannon Coyle by Mark Lesher and filed with the State Judicial Review Board. That complaint was based on the rule of law, not on purgered lies. It was based on the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. All of you know that Shannon Coyle left Jerry and traveled to Colorado with Robert McCarver. She left Jerry because of the abuse she was receiving at his hands. She took her son with her because Jerry did not want him, and would not let her take her daughter, probably most likely under threat. I won't even speculate whether Shannon was right or wrong in this decision to leave her daughter under the control of Jerry Coyle. We all know that some people in this county can get by with MURDER, while others are indicted, jailed, and convicted for no better reason than someone making false accusations. Our Sheriff's Department and our County Attorney do no investigation. They do not seek the truth nor do they try to imprison the criminals. They persecute the innocent by jailing them using lies, deceit, and power. They imprison them with the help of State Defense Attorney Dan Meehan who is a known drunk, and is in bed with Varley. The two of them get together, and Varley scares the defendant to death piling on false and unfounded charges. Then Meehan tells the defendant that he can get off easy by pleading rather than bringing the defendant before a true, honest, intelligent jury to decide the facts in a court of law. (I have my doubts that there is a true court of law in Red River County). I am not sure that we can even get a true, honest, intelligent jury in Red River county, (I am not saying there are no true, honest, intelligent people in Red River County but I am saying) because of the probability that they are stacking the juries. We can't prove it yet, but we know that it can be done, and if anyone in the world would do it Red River County Attorney Val Varley, Red River District Clerk Janice Gentry, and the Red River Justice System (John Miller) would. Have you ever noticed the number of times the same people are on the Grand Juries, and who the foreman are that are picked by District Judge John Miller. Stop and take a look, a really hard look because you might just be surprised. Shannon Coyle went through a great deal after she and Robert got to Colorado. She was arrested and bailed out, arrested and bailed out, only to be arrested and bailed out again. When she finally got out and got away they brought more charges to have her arrested again only this time she had the help of Mark Lesher who got her in touch with a good attorney, Mr. Smith who got her arraigned on the last charge in Texarkana and bailed out. (By the way, those charges are still being held over the head of Shannon Coyle.) Shannon and Red were arrested and jailed on warrants from Red River County that were concocted by then Chief Deputy Larry Spangler who was friends with Jerry Coyle. He was such close friends that Jerry had been furnishing him money for the race car that he ran in Paris, Texas. We had reports that Spangler had been seen taking $100.00 bills from Jerry to maintain and race that car and no telling what else. These two Criminals concocted the lies that got the warrants issued that caused the false arrest and jailing of Shannon and Robert. These charges were brought to keep Shannon from attending the custody hearings. The reason for all these charges was that Jerry filed for divorce, and when he did a Child Custody case began. Jerry wanted the daughter, and then District Judge Jim Dick Lovett who at one time was Jerry's lawyer, helped him to get her. He issued orders that the daughter be placed into Jerry Coyle's custody. When District Judge Jim Dick Lovett did that he went against the laws of the State of Texas and broke them. In other words he sold his soul to the devil, much in the same way that Shannon did when she allowed herself to be tattooed with a full color devil and his pitchfork directly above her heart. The law in Texas states that a minor child, especially a minor female child cannot be placed into the custody of a man who is not her blood related father. Judge Jim Dick Lovett broke that law. Not only did Judge Jim Dick Lovett break the law the first time he did this, he broke the law two more times when he continued the order of custody. This is the reason that Mark Lesher immediately helped Shannon Coyle when he drew up the complaint and read it to her, had her read it to him, he asked her if she wanted any changes made, she said no, and then she initialed each page and signed it. I know this because I was there in the office the day that it happened. She told Mark that Jerry was molesting her daughter, her son told Mark that Jerry was molesting his sister, and their outcry to him rang true because he and Rhonda had gone to the houseboat in Broken Bow and there saw the evidence. During that visit Jerry ask Rhonda if she felt like it was bad for him and the daughter to sleep in the same bed together naked. Anyway, when Mark and Rhonda heard Shannon's outcry, and the illegal order by then Judge Jim Dick Lovett, the complaint was drawn up and filed in an attempt to alleviate the molestation and the illegal situation created by Lovett's order. When the complaint reached the State Judicial Review Board in Austin they were very interested, and immediately began an investigation. They called the attorney that Val called as a witness during the Leshers/McCarver trial, Mr. Smith, and he backed up the allegations by telling them that Shannon Coyle had out cried to him also. When Jim Dick found out about the complaint you can imagine that he blew a gasket. I can only guess as to what happened next but I would imagine that he immediately called Jerry Coyle and told him that he better quite Shannon Coyle immediately and get her in some way to refute the complaint, so that he could keep his pension and his freedom, because he could go to prison, which was unlikely, but he would have lost his entire reputation as a judge and his pension from the State of Texas. All of a sudden these allegations of Sexual Assault erupted against Mark and Rhonda Lesher, using Marks kindness to Robert by allowing him to live and work at the ranch because he had no other place to go. We all know that Varley took the allegations to the Grand Jury for indictment, probably knowing all along after a call from Jim Dick Lovett and Jerry Coyle that they were totally false. Varley did not hesitate to indict Mark and Rhonda, have Perkins draw up arrest warrants, then had the goon squad from the Red River County Sheriff's department enter Rhonda's business in front of her employees, customers, and publically humiliated her by arresting her, transporting her in a squad car, and booking her into the Red River County Jail. When Mark got the phone call that Rhonda had been arrested he immediately and without thought of his own safety (as any devoted and loving husband would do) got in his truck and headed for the Red River County Jail. As he crossed over the county line and got almost to Avery the Red River County Sheriff's Department "Goon Squad" pulled him over. The took him from the truck placed him in handcuffs; which by the way they put on so tight that they cut into his wrists. I saw the cuts with my own eyes. They put him in the back of a Squad Car and left him sitting there for about 2 hours in the heat. Your old Sheriff Terry gReed, and your new Sheriff-elect Robert Bridges were on location, and participating as this was done. They showed no mercy as they humiliated and degraded Mark. They searched his truck, confiscated his weapon, and tried to say that some prescription drugs that he had in his vehicle were illegal, which was later refuted. Then they took him to jail, booked him in as a common criminal (as they had done to Rhonda) and put him behind bars. Even though the testimony of Shannon Coyle was purgered (and in my opinion he knew that all along) Val Varley took the purgered testimony, and rubbed his hands together in delight. Varley took those lies and did absolutely no investigation of the true facts (because if he had he would not have ever taken those lies to the first grand jury). Not only did he indict them once, but twice and the second time upped the ante to a first degree felony, Aggravated Sexual Assault. You cannot even begin to imagine the humiliation and loss suffered by Mark and Rhonda Lesher, just because they tried to help a young girl who was being sexually abused by Jerry Coyle. Isn't it something that two good, honest, God Fearing people who tried to do what is right, just, and legal, are treated like criminals by the hands of the Red River County Justice System and the Goon Squad of the Red River County Sheriff's Department, who is now run by the then Sheriff Elect Robert Bridges. Those Included but not limited to humiliating the Lesher's were: 1. Jim Dick Lovett who in my opinion called Jerry Coyle to quiet the complaint levied against him with the Texas Judicial Review Board 2. Jerry Coyle, who in my opinion more than likely threatened Shannon Coyle into making the false allegations. 3. Chief Deputy Larry Spangler, and his working with Jerry Coyle and Shannon Coyle to generate the false complaint. 4. Val Varley, who mislead one Red River County Grand Jury using the false allegations to get Sexual Assault Indictments. 5. Shannon Coyle who admitted in court that she purgered her testimony before the first Grand Jury. 6. Red River County Law Enforcement who humiliated the Lesher's when they arrested Rhonda Lesher in her place of business in front of all of her employees and customers, and when they pulled over Mark Lesher on the side of the road and arrested and humiliated him. 7. Shelly Benton for setting a $100,000.00 bail each costing the Lesher's $20,000.00 8. Val Varley, who mislead another Red River County Grand Jury using the false allegations to get the Aggravated Sexual Assault Complaints. 9. Shannon Coyle who admitted in court that she purgered her testimony again before the second Grand Jury. 10. Shelly Benton for again setting a $100,000.00 bail each costing the Lesher's another $20,000.00 11. Val Varley for continuing the prosecution of the Lesher's after hearing Shannon Coyle testify under oath that she purgered herself before both grand juries, and the lies she was caught in as she testified in Collin County. Varley should have immediately made a motion to the judge to dismiss the charges with prejudice and ended the false, purgered, malicious prosecution, but he did not. Val Varley, You know that I have absolutely no respect for you period. You are a Criminal, period. You falsely imprisoned, and maliciously prosecuted who I consider to be two of my best friends that I hold very dear. I watched and know for a fact that you lied under oath about your hate for Mark Lesher in the Motion Hearing in December 2008. I know for a fact that you run around with women, and have affairs. I have heard the rumors of Red River county that you like to run around with men. You are a malicious slime ball who does not deserve to practice law, or hold a license to practice law in the State of Texas. My goal in life is to take care of my totally disabled wife who is unable to take care of herself, run an honest computer sales and repair business, and have your sorry ass removed from office under disgrace. I am putting you on notice that I will not rest until you are removed, disbarred, and maybe even in prison for your criminal actions. May you burn in hell unless you ask the Good Lord for forgiveness, and start living a true and honest life. I hope that you are humiliated tens of millions of times over for what you did to my two dear friends that I truly love, and respect.
To Shelly, Val's wife. How can you lie down in bed at night next to this criminal, knowing that he has violated the vows of your marriage with other women, and by rumor other men? How can you sleep knowing that he would violate the trust of the public that he is sworn to protect, and the oath of office that he has sworn to uphold? How can you look into his eyes and kiss him knowing what he is and what he has done, and would do? Do you know where he draws the line? Do you need a man so bad that you are willing to accept this slime ball into your bed knowing that he has sold his soul to the Devil? Can you truly say that you sleep well at night knowing what you are lying next too? Do you still believe what you said when you were in Collin County that your husband was "Just doing his Job"? | Red River County Just-Us by Varley found Real Justice in Collin County Courthouse and was DE-GUTTED! Friday January 16, 2009 Refined further Sunday January 17, 2009 RR Just-Us (Prosecution) For the last several days (Wed. 15th, Thur. 16th, Fri. 17th of Jan 2009), I had the honor, and privilege of attending and supporting Mark, Rhonda, and Robert and their proven and undisputable innocence clearly shown during their Aggravated Sexual Assault trial in Collin County. This malicious, unfounded prosecution was brought about by our Corrupt and Criminally Motivated County Attorney Val Varley using purgered testimony most likely formulated by he, Jerry Coyle and the main prosecution witness Shannon Coyle. I was not allowed to attend the first day of trial (because of my witness status) in which Shannon Coyle (wife of Jerry Coyle) took the stand and admitted that she "LIED UNDER OATH" to the two Red River County Grand Jury's numerous times, allowing Varley to get indictments against the defendants. She was also caught more than 40 times lying under oath to the Collin County Jury as the Leshers' and McCarvers' attorney's cross-examined her. This was absolutely no trip up of her telling the truth about the accusations she purported, but a trip up of Shannon Coyle to keep all the lies straight that she continues to tell. This preposterous attempt to convict the defendants using their (Varley, Shannon, Jerry) concocted lies would have been seen by ANY honest prosecutor, and he would have stopped the trial, and moved to drop the charges against the defendants immediately with prejudice. Not our illustrious, un-stained, un-sullied County attorney. He continued to support those lies continuing to use every possible means to make them stronger in an attempt to achieve conviction. Shannon Coyle had, and and continues to lie so many times, and has told so many different lies that she can not keep them straight. My understanding of the first day's testimony, was that she could not answer the same question the same way twice. The transcripts will show that on cross, Shannon admitted to the jury that she considered herself to be a cold-hearted bitch, and that she had a full color tattoo of the devil with a pitchfork directly over her heart. The defense during the cross, played the recording of a call that Mrs. Coyle left on an answering machine of a relative that spewed vulgarity after vulgarity that "She was doing all she could to play the game to get her daughter, son, and her away from her perverted f'ing husband, (Jerry Coyle) using explicative's such as that Perverted M&^HER F*^#ER! She told the relative to back off, so she could get herself and the kids away from Coyle. Shannon Coyle testified that the Defendants held her captive at the Mill Creek Ranch, home of Mark and Rhonda Lesher. Coyle made reference to the locked gates that she stated prevented her from leaving. The Defense team produced pictures of the automatic gates to the entrance of the property which clearly showed that she could easily get out by going through openings in the fence to the left and right of the rock walls supporting the gates. There was absolutely no evidence that she could have been held by locking the gates. Varley continued to support his purgered witness by doing everything possible to show a person could not get around those automatic gates, but everyone could clearly see that he was exaggerating the situation. His attempt to fool the jury into believing that what they were clearly seeing with their eyes was not what they were actually seeing, but the pictures presented on a full size projection screen made it impossible for him to do so. I do not understand how Varley felt he could continue to attempt to mislead the jury when he could easily see that Coyle or anyone else for that matter could easily exit on foot. He even accused the Lesher's of changing the gates from what they were originally. I know for a fact that those gates are the same as they have been since I have known Mark and Rhonda. Jerry Coyle was not allowed into the courtroom because he was on the State's witness list and could not be present, due to the rule being invoked. He was never allowed to testify in the case (which was probably a blessing to the Prosecution even though he was on their witness list). I am sure the defense most definitely wanted to get Jerry Coyle on the stand under cross examination so they could gut him and then hand him a pitchfork to put them back in. Varley got up the next day (Tuesday when I was allowed in after the testimony of Coyle had nearly ended and before he called his next witness) in front of the Jury, the Court, and a room full of spectators and admitted that the Cross Examination of Shannon Coyle by the defense was the "Best DE-Gutting" of a Prosecution Witness" he had seen. What Varley was too stupid and ignorant to understand was that he and his case had been de-gutted, yet he continued to pursue the unfounded conviction of all defendants. The testimony of Shannon's son who is at the present 12yrs. old, (10 at the time) could be noted that he loved his mother and wanted to protect her at all costs, which included lying under oath if needed. (After he testified under oath, we had witnesses that saw him and Shannon Coyle do a high-five in the hallway.) Any honest person could see that his testimony seemed programmed, and most definitely rehearsed as he denied, time and time again that he had not spoken to anyone about the sexual abuse of his, at the time 12yr. old sister, and his sexual abuse by perverted Jerry Coyle (who Jerry supported, and watched with him as they peeked through the cracked bedroom door viewing his 12yr. old sister and her 16 yr. old boyfriend having sexual intercourse). He previously had stated in front of witnesses that the boyfriend was allowed to live at the Coyle's residence, and to sleep in the daughter's bedroom in her bed more than once as had Shannon. The answers he gave to questions on direct and cross were mainly yes and no answers which seemed even more programmed. He also stated that he did not like the first counselor because she had called him a liar, which in later testimony of the defense by the first counselor (who was very credible, and professional) stated that she never called the boy a liar. When asked by Varley what he thought about Robert (Red) McCarver he stated in front of the entire courtroom that "He Is a Piece of Shit!" which seemed to catch Varley off guard, and he asked "What?" and the boy again stated "He Is a Piece of Shit!" The Judge admonished him to refrain from using anything other than proper language in his court. The programmed part of his testimony came from the fact that he has a lot of material things at home that only Jerry Coyle's money could provide, like dirt bikes, vehicles, etc. As a boy he does not want to lose those things, and it seems that he can be (as all young children can be) programmed to say what someone wants in order to keep those material things that he likes. The first counselor, hired by the amicus (the attorney appointed by the court to represent the children) was allowed to be fired by Jerry Coyle by the court because he did not like the questions she was asking the children about sexual abuse which they and Shannon out cried to the first appointed counselor, and a second counselor was hired in which Jerry Coyle approved. I was in the office when Shannon, her son and Robert (Red) Lynn McCarver came in to sign the complaint on then Judge Jim Dick Lovett (the complaint solicited by, and filed at her request) was drawn up by Mark Lesher for her to sign. Shannon requested that he draw up the complaint which was in no way a conflict of interest. This complaint will be discussed later in the series, and explanations along with a link to that complaint will be provided at a later date. During this visit, Shannon's son talked with Red and I could tell that he really liked Red because he took him fishing, and I could tell that he loved to fish. The two of them even talked about going fishing together after they left the office that day. Robert (Red) treated him really well from what I could tell because he liked the boy, and wanted to share experiences that he liked to do as a boy with him, and everyone knows that Red loves to fish. Out cries were made at this time without any coercion or intimidation by Mark or Rhonda about the sexual abuse of the daughter and sister by Shannon and the boy to Mark and Rhonda. I heard bits and pieces of their allegations as I worked on the computers around the office that day. The allegations of what was being done by Jerry Coyle would make any credible, honest Christian person feel an urgent necessity to do anything and everything legal and proper to to alleviate this perverted sexual situation. The second Counselor to the Coyle Children, parent Shannon, and Step father Jerry Coyle, who testified for the prosecution, admitted on cross that she did not bother to ask questions of the first counselor and her findings, or about the outcries by Shannon Coyle or the children. She admitted that she had done NO investigation into the sexual abuse allegations that were brought out in testimony in open court during the first child custody hearing. She also admitted that she did not bother to investigate by asking questions of law enforcement, nor had she bothered to even read court testimony of the first hearing where the allegations of sexual abuse of the then 12 yr. old daughter by Step Father Jerry Coyle were made by his wife Shannon, and her son. She clearly stated that she did not believe in asking questions that delved into explicit aspects of sexual abuse, or had any problems in believing her clients unless she caught them in a direct lie. (Don't ask, and you won't be told.) If I had been a juror, even though I am not totally un-biased, I would have wondered about her testimony, and why she did nothing but what seemed to be the will of Jerry Coyle, and his money. You could tell that she was very young, and did not have years of experience and professionalism of the first counselor. She was an innocent flighty little thing that probably gave Varley a little extra exhilaration just looking at her. (We all know of his interest in the ladies, and his alleged interest even in some of the gentleman. Aren't you a little AC - DC Valerie? My thoughts on the subject, as well as I would bet the thoughts of some of the Jurors, and possibly you as the reader is, why in the world she did not investigate what the Attorney appointed for the children had asked her to do. I suppose the fact that she was appointed by Judge Banner from Greenville (hearing the child custody case) at the protest of Jerry Coyle of the first counselor, had nothing to do with it. My question to Judge banner would be "Why did you ignore the testimony of the first counselor, and allow Jerry Coyle to fire the first counselor who was doing a honest, and professional service to the court, only to hire a second counselor who did absolutely nothing?" My curiosity is peaked, knowing the reputation of the Just-Us system of Red River County (which has the shady reputation of being able to be purchased)...... and how it tends to corrupt every official who enters it by election or appointment. Was Judge Banner corrupted (by someone with considerable money) who then blindly ignored testimony of a credible counselor (hired by the appointed attorney to the children by the court to insure their rights) who testified that sexual abuse was occurring by what she had uncovered by outcries during the many sessions with the children individually, and Shannon Coyle? The federal prisoner who was also a prosecution witness, gave very little relative testimony concerning what his cell mate Red McCarver had told him (while in the Red River County Jail together). His statement to then Sheriff Terry Reed that "They had filed the proper charges." was clearly an attempt to further his own agenda. This witness was probably used by Varley in an attempt to "Muddy the Waters" of the case in order to conceal the fact that he had absolutely no evidence that any Aggravated Sexual Assault had occurred. During deliberations the jury asked for a specific section of his testimony that basically stated that "They were doing drugs" (Shannon and Red) and they (Mark and Rhonda) came into the room where they (Shannon and Red) were, and she (Shannon) freaked out. There were two hair follicle test done on Shannon Coyle, one before and one shortly after the alleged sexual assault against the defendants, and both of the tests came back negative. Prosecutor Varley also brought Shannon Coyle's attorney Mr. Smith. Mark Lesher had helped her locate this attorney to represent her in the Criminal Cases that were brought against her in Red River County. Lesher was prohibited by law from representing her in a case because he had represented Jerry Coyle in a Civil case previously, so he spent his own time with no pay to locate her an attorney to represent her. (NO GOOD DEED EVER GOES UNPUNISHED MARK!!) These charges were fabricated by then Chief Deputy Larry Spangler, whom we all know to be a perverted crook, and Jerry Coyle (who by the outcries of his own wife and step children is a pervert) in an effort to help his friend Coyle keep Shannon in jail, and cause her to miss the Child Custody hearings so that Coyle would get custody of his 12 year old step-daughter. Testimony was given by this witness on cross that Shannon Coyle had out cried to him that Jerry Coyle was molesting her daughter. She stated to him that she (Shannon) came out of the shower with only a towel wrapped around her, and entering the bedroom saw her daughter, dressed only in panties and a t-shirt in bed with her head on Jerry's bare stomach, with nothing but a sheet covering them. Mr. Smith also testified that he wondered by the attitude and actions of Shannon Coyle if she was on drugs, and had her go and take the 5 panel drug test to see if she was on drugs. The test came back NEGATIVE! Let me remind you that this meeting was after the alleged Aggravated Sexual assault. Just a note, when Mr. Smith started testifying to the out cries of Shannon to him on the molestation of her daughter by Jerry Coyle, Varley stopped the testimony and cried out in anger to the Judge that he wanted to treat Mr. Smith as a hostile witness. What a Criminal, Idiot, Fool Varley is calling his own witness hostile for not answering as he wished!!! I know about his past in this respect as when I would not concoct amounts to his liking about the value of the laptop computer in the Jimmie Townsend trial that he blew up at me and told me that I was an asshole, and had his goons, Perkins and Shimpock threaten me!!! Another Prosecution witness, was a pathological drug expert from a laboratory in Texas. He would have been a credible witness except for the fact that he was a forensic pathologist with extensive experience in testing for drugs in the body, and had done very little testing of hair follicle drug tests. He stated that the 2 drug test taken by Shannon Coyle would not have been effective for Date Rape Drugs. This was an attempt to discredit the two drug test taken by Shannon because the prosecution wanted to make the jury believe that is what she was given in the alleged incident. Prosecutor Varley's only purpose for putting this man on the stand was to discredit the 2, 5 panel drug tests taken by Shannon Coyle showing that she had not been given or taken any drugs before or after the alleged Aggravated Sexual Assault allegation. During the above testimony Prosecutor Varley tried to muddy the water with accusations that the pills Shannon Coyle said that she was allegedly given by Mark Lesher were hand made using a pill press. There was never any search warrant to search the Lesher Ranch, and no evidence was ever found that any drug lab, or pill press of any kind was proven to be anywhere in the possession of the Lesher's. Probably the reason no search warrant was ever drawn up or executed on the Lesher Ranch is that the Criminal Idiots we have in the Justice System in this county couldn't draw up a legal search warrant if someone gave them a template. I have been friends with the Leshers for about 3 years now, and have been all over the Ranch and it's out buildings and property, and have never ever seen anything that would indicate a lab or anything else that would show a pill press to make any type of drugs. I have never seen any type of drugs (except those prescribed by a doctor) being used in any manner by the Leshers. Testimony from a Child Protective Services (CPS) worker from Oklahoma who investigated the home of Shannon and Jerry Coyle in relation to the children, said she found nothing and had questioned the children who said that no abuse had occurred. She also stated that she had made several telephone calls to individuals during her investigation. It seemed funny to me, as it should you, that CPS had not even bothered to really do any real investigation in an effort to protect these children from being abused, by the outcries that had come out in the custody hearings, and is still doing nothing to protect the children from their outcries of sexual abuse by Jerry Coyle. I guess that we are paying these people (CPS) for not doing anything other than blindly filling out paperwork, making phone calls, and doing absolutely no intensive investigation into allegations of sexual child abuse. Could it be that CPS has been influenced by someone with "A lot of Money?" And, we wonder why children are left in abusive situations while CPS closes the case. Is this type of CPS investigation only possible in Red River County, or does this type of investigative malpractice go on by CPS across the state of Texas, and Oklahoma? Another question. Why did they use a CPS investigator from Oklahoma? Texas has it's own state investigative office of CPS. Does it not seem strange to you as the reader that Oklahoma was used in Texas for an investigation? Shannon's mother has stated that she attended a birthday party at the Coyle residence, and that upon getting there walked in and found Jerry Coyle watching an adult movie with the children in the room, and that she took the children outside as soon as she saw what was occurring. Shannon's father asked Jerry what in hell are you thinking doing something like this and Jerry Coyle stated that the kids are going to learn about sex sooner or later.

My Reply to, and Citizen Opinion listed below. January 28, 2009 First of all I would like to tell you that this person was banned permanently from posting on the site over a year ago due to his ranting and raving with no foundation. He stayed away, but when Mark and Rhonda Lesher were found Innocent, that very day he came back. I have reported him to his ISP for posting garbage in my guestbook on my business website, and he has come back to this site again ranting and raving, so I decided to let him have his 15 seconds, and am posting my reply. Evidently, as you can see this person claims to be ex-law enforcement in the Dallas area, but if he was he seems to be very unstable. I do not believe that any law enforcement agency in that area would allow him to work for them since they do not use the types that would write in this manner. I am going to answer this person's allegations one at a time, and maybe he will go on down the road, and if not, am going to keep reporting him to his ISP until they refuse to provide him service, which they can do. They evidently stopped him from writing in my guestbook after I sent them several of his postings, and made a telephone call. Now he is back here. First, he states that I have repeatedly lied to the citizens of Red River County, and that any time a person tries to post this information that I erase it. My answer is that anyone with half a brain can see that I post documentation any time that I write an Editorial that is not labeled "Opinion", but that even when I write an "Opinion" that it is based on past Editorials and facts that are listed in documentation. When I write an "Opinion" I state that it is an "Opinion", and everyone knows that what "Opinions" I do write usually are backed up with documentation that I can produce, if it is not posted immediately, or is posted within a reasonable time. I believe that I stated that we moved here in the first place because of her illness, and that she was no longer practicing law due to that illness. His next statement is that I was stopped from working on the counties computers because I was caught trying to spy on them by installing a back door program. Again he gets his information from this site. I stated that Val Varley and Mark Perkins were concocting a false charge to retaliate against me for writing about their criminal activity, by saying that they found a back door into their computer system. I brought out this information, and refuted it. The reason that I quit working on the county computers was that I could not trust them after Tim Shimpock and Mark Perkins threatened me in the parking lot of the Bowie County Courthouse during the Jimmie Townsend trial when I would not purger my testimony as an expert witness for Val Varley. Varley wanted me to testify that the laptop was actually worth more than it was so that he could up the ante to get a stiffer charge against Townsend. (Does this sound vaguely familiar to what Varley did with the Grand Jury's against Mark and Rhonda Lesher?) I reported the facts of the alleged allegation of Val and Perkins about the Computers to the FBI, and also reported the threats made by Tim Shimpock and Mark Perkins to the FBI in Dallas. They took a formal report on both of these. I do not have to spy on their computer systems. I get my documentation through the open-records act, and court documentation that is public information. They do it to themselves out in the open and in public records and documents. They are so stupid that I do not have to, nor do I spy on them to gain information. I use the legal means open to the public, and this fool and the "Maggots in power", know it He states that he is from RRC, and that his family has had businesses in Clarksville for years. Citizen Opinion Tuesday January 20, 2009 Jurline Edwards letter was great. Thank you so much Jurline. Ernie, your reporting of the Court Trial against Mark and Rhonda Lesher and Robert McCarver is really good. Keep up the good work. After the exposure of this trial and all it holds for the past, present and future of Red River County, the people have to question any trial that comes up before our courts whether it be right or "wrong". There are no wrong questions. The corruption was exposed greatly in this trial and it behooves us all to ask for evidence before indicting or convicting. The Collin County Jury was awesome. And, Red River County should learn a lot from the Judge, the lawyers who represented the defense and all concerned that it is a serious crime to falsely accuse anyone. To learn that, Red River county will unfortunately have to endure many lawsuits and it is only right and fair. Anyone would do the same thing if it were them. For over a year, their names have been ruined over blog sites and some people thought it had to be true. We should all contact our State Representative and our Senator about this serious miscarriage of justice in Red River County. Senate Bill 6 of 2005 has a penalty phase in it. It also gave the CPS huge raises to do a better job. Well, we need to let them know they are still not doing their job. Those who are guilty of this false accusation need to be punished. All those who participated in it should be punished also. Even the doctors who did not attempt to find and report the abuse of those children. Congratulations Mark and Rhonda Lesher for fighting this and exposing what happened by hiring awesome lawyers to get to the bottom of it. My apologies as a resident of Red River County that this happened to you. It has happened to others as we all know now. The Richardson case has huge holes in it. So does Michelle Peek's case and so does many others. We pray for justice for them, and we pray Val Varley will let that young man Edward Charles Richardson go as he promised he would. Sometimes things have to get worse before they get better but everyone I have talked to thinks this is the beginning of the end to the reign of terror in Red River county against poor people, black people and anyone who objects to their ways. Citizen Opinion Tuesday January 20, 2009 Mr. Henslee, After reading your very detailed synopsis of what happened to the Lesher's, I'm appalled. Though, it doesn't surprise or shock me. How can we as citizens believe in the justice system, if we have corrupt people like Varley, Miller, and Lovett (just a few!) running the justice system? I have absolutely no faith in the justice system because of what happened to the Lesher's, the Richardson's, and all the other people who have been railroaded by these hypocrites. What has to happen before the Attorney General or the Justice Department comes in and investigate Red River County? Is it not bad enough that they could railroad someone into probation/prison for the rest of their lives? No, I know, someone has to die.... What a shame! Is Red River County above being investigated? Does our CA/DA have connections higher up? Does a child's safety matter? Can certain ones lie under oath? Does an innocent person deserve prison or extensive probation? Can they just set up people because they are the police and get away with it? Can they ruin the lives of good people and get away with it? I could go on and on with questions only to not have any of them answered. Until someone higher up comes in and investigate this corruption, the justice system will continue to be a joke to us all......AND THE SAD THING ABOUT IT ALL IS THAT THIS WAS DONE TO THE LESHER'S, MCCARVER, AND THE RICHARDSON'S WITH NOT SO MUCH AS AN "I'M SORRY OR I MADE A MISTAKE!" Citizens of Clarksville and Red River County, it was with great interest I read Ola Mae Daniels letter to the editor on last week and decided what the heck am I sitting here for, let me write one also. The freedom and civil liberties of the citizens of Clarksville, TX and Red River County have been plagued by miscarriages of justice ever since the Val Varley and Judge John Miller cowboy way of justice has been serving in the area, and some since before; however we’re on the brink of a brand new day. Those citizens of the ‘upper echelon’ of society are being treated with dignity, care and respect while those of the African American and disadvantaged whites and in some cases not-so disadvantaged are being bull dogged by these two miscreants and it’s time for it to stop! If you haven’t heard what’s going on, let me share with you from my perspective. 1. Grand jury selection in your area is broken. Sheriff Terry Reed sends ‘selection’ letters by regular mail, and it should be by ‘registered” mail why is he even mailing them in the first place, is this in the Sheriff’s job description? 2. Clerk Janice Gentry excuses them if they call in. This is in violation of Texas Law. 3. Val Varley secures indictments with no evidence as he has done in the Mark Lesher case. Interesting he secures an indictment with no evidence here, but has evidence in the ‘Wear” murder case but won’t pursue or indict on what it is: MURDER! Leave Mark Lesher alone. 4. Case after case Val Varley indicts is either unfounded and he unscrupulously changes charges at a higher rate than what gas prices did last year. 5. Val Varley rushes to get indictments on less harmful cases while the more serious cases go neglected; will refuse to call in help for unsolved murders, but will do so on cases he’s conjured. 6. There seems to be a pattern where the unsolved murders of African Americans are higher than those of white unsolved murders. Either way, we want them solved regardless of race. 7. The ‘Presumption of Innocence’ that is guaranteed by the US Constitution was not taught at the school Judge Miller and Val attended, if it was they must’ve skipped school that day. 8. Your law enforcement, judicial process and the whole city of Clarksville is corrupt. They are under suspicion of murder, racial profiling, unlawful imprisonment, embezzlement, rape, drug dealing, prostitution and drug use. That’s a mess! 9. Many people have been coerced to ‘plea bargain’ rather than go to jury trial so that the miscreants can keep them hung up in the judicial system. 10. From the mayor on down to the tiniest piece of dirt on their squad cars this place IS CORRUPT & NEEDS TO BE EXPOSED! I am determined to fight them nail and teeth till every bit of corruption and malicious act they have committed are exposed. Why in the world is Judge Miller serving when he was cited for hunting on a ‘dove-baited’ piece of property? That’s a mess. Val Varley and his cronies for whatever reason has the lives of Vergil Richardson and his family caught up in this corrupt justice system and was praying that they will bow out and plea bargain. No deal! Vergil and his family are innocent. Val Varley, I personally feel you are a malicious, vindictive and over-zealous DA who is incompetent and you need to be disbarred. My mission in life at this juncture is to save souls and have you removed from office and I will not stop until that has been accomplished, you can count on that. I am also wishing to have recall election on the Sheriff and mayor’s office, there will be a petition that will go forth on that as well. When I saw how the people on the River had been neglected, I could understand why so many turned to drinking and drugs. There was no other place for them to turn. But I feel, most who are arrested for drugs here are not guilty. The Sheriff’s Office and police department are just doing it for the Federal Funds and not getting the real drug dealers. They don’t care whom they take down in the process, but we know whom the real drug dealers are. Val Varley said he would drop the charges against Vergil and his family if no fingerprints came back then why in the hell are they not dropped? Man of his word? NO! He also said he wouldn’t pursue new charges against Edward Charles Richardson but he did anyway. Man of his word? NO! I am on a mission to have the FBI and Justice Department come down here and clean up the corruption in the areas of Lamar and Red River County. There is currently a petition signing drive and we are making plans for our next rally. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your time, effort, energy and concern that you put into helping us in these counties (Lamar and Red River to come) of Texas. Somehow, I feel that your passion for what you do has made it just more than a job and that is appreciated. I recall you mentioning that this will take time; however some issues will need urgent attention. You are already aware that Texas is tipping the scale when it comes to 'innocent exonerations'. Over 1/2 of the black population is incarcerated in US prisons and Texas is #3 in line for being rated 'Worst Place for Blacks to Live." (Black Commentator)
This 'public opinion' by the BC contains merit solely because of the 36.7% black population incarcerated in Texas prisons while 'we' comprise only 11.1% (Prison Policy) of Texas population. Please hear us out! This hasn't just become a problem, it's been a problem since Ronald Reagan introduced the 'War on Drugs' and the federal government's lackadaisical approach to remedying this matter is appalling, to say the least. With these figures being accurate, there must be towns, counties and other parishes in Texas making it to be so. This year alone, over 20 Texans have been cleared (although unrelated to drugs) through the Innocence Project spearheaded and authored by the State of Texas first ever black DA-Dallas County, Craig Watkins; and most of these victims are black. The Innocence Project is great and very much needed, however it doesn't address certain issues and concerns that necessitate 'proactive' measures rather than 'reactive' measures. Our action to this travesty will not be dealt with silently.
While I do respect others repose in handling matters, there are at times when silence is not golden. I’m revolutionary, have always been and always will be radical. I’m open as evidenced to ‘table discussion’ but only when such discussions entail the when/where follow up that’s needed to bring a resolve to the ills that are plaguing our community. Ergo, the absence of this need in our initial diaglogue. I am concerned about economical issues be it housing or otherwise, black on black crime and other circumstances that hinder progression and freedom. We are calling for immediate congressional intervention into the serious allegations that haunt us.
We have already been in contact with Congressman John Conyers and the Congressional Black Caucus as well as the US Department of Justice in which you represent, the FBI, CIA and others to look into the allegations that Red River & Lamar County has been accused of:
The lighter side of this for those of us who live in Lamar County, is that Red River County, in my opinion, is a hell of a whole lot worse than Lamar County when it comes to corruption on behalf of local government. There are missing person cases, unsolved murders and questionable deaths for some who above average citizens feel as though they were murders, but have been labeled suicide. There are law enforcement personnel, attorneys, business persons, whites and blacks that will attest to their belief in these allegations. Royce Abbott who is former Chief of Police in Wylie, TX and Crandall, TX and also Chief Deputy in Plano, TX and who happens to be someone I consider a very personal and close friend of mine, has years of expertise in law enforcement. Remember, he was honored for the Wylie, TX 'axe' murder investigation he led that was featured on Court TV. He and I met this morning at breakfast and he is a willing and open mouthpiece for us along with some attorneys and business leaders in the community. Please see the attached letter I wrote to Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee. I know that you're in Washington, D.C. at the moment, however I am copying some of our civic leaders in this area in the event that some will hear me without calling us delusional and offer some support instead of fruitless rhetoric. While I know some may or may not rise to the occasion, please keep in mind that this matter is dire and we will not settle for further discussions in the absence of action from our elected officials and a resolve that is conducive to what we’re aiming to accomplish.
Finally, I believe that these areas of Texas can improve. I believe that Paris, TX can be the BEST CITY in Texas, period! I believe in the citizens of Lamar County and Red River County; however I don't believe in silence. It was Martin Luther King Jr, who once said, "Freedom is not voluntarily given by the oppressor, it must be demanded by the oppressed." To address the NBPP; I have blood relatives that are members and I myself am an honorary member, they are not a hate group as some suggest. No worse than being Christian nowadays and we hang out and affiliate ourselves with some of the worse of our kind. Can I get an Amen? Ok, I know that was a little harsh. But let me ask you? How many churches have they bombed? How many people have they murdered and lynched in trees? Answer would be a whopping Zilch. A relative of mine, Pastor Charles Stovall in Dallas, TX, who is also a community activist has members of the NBPP that are members of his church, as well as Pastor Freddie Haynes. While I understand the position of our highly respected businessman and religious leaders, it is not my intention to damage this economy nor hurt the image of Paris, TX. However, in the interim, if that becomes a result of action brought about by myself and others, do accept my sincere apology and understand that all of us learned about this back in junior high school. Simply put, it's called "CAUSE & REACTION" Remember that? For every cause, there is an action and will be a reaction. Unfortunately, this is just the way it is, I was born in 1970 and it was here before I arrived. I appreciate each of that took the time to read this (those that did) and I look forward to working with each of you as we all move ahead in making Paris, TX and Red River two of the best and fairest counties not only in Texas, but in these United States of America. He also threatened to kill her and solicited the assistance of other deputies to do so. They did absolutely nothing to him. He just happen to be the brother in law of Shelley Benton who is the clerk-turned magistrate in the area. It's all there. Meanwhile, a young black man, in the same county, has been given 99 years in prison for not turning state evidence on friends who burglarized a home and assaulted the owner. Other cases, for those of us who care, we can prove and show you, but we need everyone's participation. I have ways you can help if interested let me know, if not, I still appreciate you for taking the time to hear me out.

fyi...... Just to let everyone know.... I was at the motion hearing today in the Lesher's, McCarver, Aggravated Sexual Assault case. After all this time, Valerie was trying to get a continuance so he could stretch the trial out indefinitely because he knows as well as we all do that he really has no proof other than she-said. It didn't work though. Valerie, Just a hint from the last great campaign..... "You can put lipstick on a Red River County Pig, but you still got a Red River County Pig." The highlight of the whole thing to me was that Varley was sworn in as a witness, and testified under oath that he "Did not want to indict the Lesher's". What can I say other than another fiasco trumped up bunch of bullshit by our illustrious Red River Pig Loving County Attorney, Valerie Rear-End Varley!!!! I guess that we can all look forward to who you are going to screw next....... Got slapped around like a Rag Doll under oath didn't you Valerie, and you refused to tell the truth. We all know how you despise Mark Lesher. Remember I worked for you as a contractor, and I heard you and Perkins talk about Mark Lesher. Coach Richardson Speaks Out!! (Citizen Statement) December 14, 2008 I, Vergil Richardson, have set back patiently and read all of the comments and opinions posted on various websites, the Texarkana Gazette, the Paris News, and the Clarksville Times, thinking that justice would eventually be served. I DON’T THINK SO! I can no longer sit back because you all make up the justice system that’s supposed to be fair and unprejudicial to all. You all have taken certain parts out of what happened and what you’ve heard and blown them out of proportion. I took great pride in my reputation and my relationship with the athletes I coached. Val Varley and his cronies have ruined my reputation and the reputation of my family by single handedly violating our civil rights. I think they did it because we are black and because I was a Head Coach. (Job lost, reputation ruined, what more do you want) (Another black family in jail)! Just remember, Val, you will have your day also!!!! Val Varley has exaggerated everything that was found. He said he found 75.1 grams of various drugs with emphasis on meth and crack cocaine. He wanted you all to believe this. Once again, you were totally misled. Facts are: There was 43.03 grams of marijuana, 8.66 grams of cocaine, and 4.31 grams of meth (Totaling 56 grams of various drugs) in the storage building. He also stated he found cocaine under the sofa pillow. After analysis, it proved that the supposed drug found under the sofa pillow, wasn’t a drug at all. (GO FIGURE!) Why wasn’t the drug under the sofa real if the drugs in the storage building were real? AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THEY PROBABLY PUT THEM THERE. In court, Val stated he was removing himself from the case because he didn’t want us to think it was personal or racially motivated. (HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A DA REMOVING HIMSELF FROM A CASE BECAUSE OF HOW HE THINKS SOMEONE FEELS?) Also, he stated in the newspaper he removed himself from the case because of the hassle and the appellate court. (LAME EXCUSE!) When the truth is Judge Miller was going to remove him. COACH RICHARDSON!

Citizen Statement Friday December 5, 2008 Ok I have seen it all. I have lawsuits pending. I have identity theft red handed, by all means, child abuse on the ex, + pics if they haven't lost that. Been switched back and forth from so-cpd (Sheriff's Office- Clarksville PD.) 4 times to resolve this case. My x has 13 primary residences in two years, is that a primary res? several felonies. One name, Jimmy Dick Lovett is a piece of shit Lucille Lawler (Judge Jim Dick's Secretary, and Personal Friend) was allowed to enter judges chambers in and out 4 times just before proceedings, and was called as her number 1 character witness. On top of all that he said I should get along with someone who just almost kept me from my business. You can call it craft auto, and you can call it identity theft. Yes, I have listened to the automated recording, its her! Cps (Children's Protective Services) said they would not go against the judges split custody the judge said he would not protect them with my protective order. Would not sign it. HE NEVER SAW THE PICS AND IT WOULD MAKE YOU MADE AS HELL James D Craft

An Important Message to Val Varley! DECEMBER 4, 2008
Mr. Varley,
I will have you to know that I am affiliated with the largest
Baptist and Pentecostal denominations in the world and I will, if
necessary bring this to their attention in an effort to further our
cause at the Senate Judiciary Committee. You were told by Judge
Miller that you were doing a 'noble' thing by recusing yourself from
this case. It is a known fact that Judge Miller was getting ready to
recuse you himself! Do the more noble thing and drop these cases
immediately and not waste anymore taxpayers dollars on these
frivolous, trumped-up & unmerited cases. We have reason to believe
this case is vindictive and an absolute egregious act on your part.
Anyone that knows Vergil Richardson knows that he can't possibly
have anything to do with this type of activity. He's never been
arrested or have ever had a speeding ticket in his life. As a matter
of fact, he is the kind of person that parents depended on to help
them with keeping their children on the right path. We're asking you
to make this information known to Ms. Tanner. Let her know:

For Your Information...... December 3, 2008 Val, You decide now to go on record (newspaper) saying that you were there just observing. Just observing w/rifle in hand? I don't think so. What about the young woman that was there when you raided the place? Why wasn't she indicted also? The only distinguishing factor is that she is not a Richardson. What made her so special you don't have her on tape anywhere either? So if everyone there was manufacturing for the sell and distribution and do not live there, why not her? After all, she was sitting in the car with Mark Richardson. No one but you interrogated that young woman. Only one person out of this whole fiasco was living there at the time, the common denominator is the fact that it is the Richardson family. What do you have against them? On top of all this, their father passed away on Thanksgiving Day. For the past 2 months they have practically lived in the hospital beside their father's bedside. Everyday, I know because I was there along side with them. Do you remember Tulia, TX, Hearne, TX? What about ChurchePointe, LA when a whole family (Colomb) there was falsely accused by the justice system of selling drugs? Pretty soon you too will be nationally infamous and not in a good way. We know about the favors that you've called in from the FBI in Texarkana to interrogate and intimidate witnesses. We know about this and a whole lot more that your office has done in the name of the State of Texas. And the State of Texas has given you 'extensive discretion'? That's a mess! If I was a DA, I wouldn't be talking to "various" people about pending cases. You have talked to so many people, including myself, concerning this case now I wonder why that is? Just wondering. I don't expect a response to this just like I didn't get one back from the certified letter I sent you once before. However, I will follow up these emails with another letter. Finally, why is it that the newspaper is continually stating that you found 75.1 grams of drugs at the residence when we have the report back from the crime labs stating 55.1 g? Are you perpetrating this to make it continue to appear larger than what it actually is? Why don't you go after the real drug dealers? The ones that have 'hangars' with airplanes and are making trips to Columbia; and you know who they are, and we know that you know we know who they are. Why won't you do that or are you protecting them? You brought in Ms. Tanner before to help out with the Lennox murder, why haven't you called in outside help on the 'cold case' files as well? The missing people such as Jennifer Bench and unsolved murders in the area are also just as important to us. Do something about that won't you? You mention in the newspaper that Ms. Tanner is 'especially interested' because it involves a school teacher? What kind of mess is that? You guys have seemingly tried to convict him already, so much for 'innocent until proven guilty' in the State of Texas. Several times Texas has gone on record for convictions with 'he-say, she-say' testimony. If Ms. Tanner is so interested in that then maybe she will be interested in the 'official corruption' in Red River County such as:

Sneak and Peek, "The Joke's on Us" November 28.2008 Since there has been tons of fun about the "Just-Us" system of Red River County lately, I have been looking through old files and I ran across this "JEWEL IN THE ROUGH". This is a prime example of the idiots carrying, and not carrying guns we have in the system who think they can make up the rules as they go. For your information, no matter what Shimpock says there "IS NO SUCH THING" as a "Sneak and Peek" (Yes, they are so dumb as to use the wrong PEAK) warrant, but Shimpock and the former Late County Judge Powell Peek (Not the same as the Warrant, and the same as "It May Not Be Right, but this is the way we have always done it in Red River County!") conspired together to violate another citizen of RR County's rights and freedom's. Just read it and come to your own conclusions.
Important thing to Remember: In a Free and Democratic Society, it is more important to protect the Freedom and Rights of the individual citizen's than it is for Law Enforcement to Commit a Crime, to Clear a Crime by violating them! To keep our Democracy a Democracy, we must realize that "No One is Above the Law", Especially those who Protect and Serve in positions of Law Enforcement and Justice. If Law Enforcement, Justice and Government do not respect the rights of the common citizen as set forth in the Constitution of the United States, and the Citizens do not Hold them to that high position, Democracy will Fail.

Citizen Comment Wed. Nov 19, 2008 I was finally able to see the Jerry Conway/Kim Dagenhart video. It is an eye-opener about the corruption in this county. And how the laws are covering for each other. (I even caught the three knocks on the table and Jerry Conway looked up!) amazing! They (the laws) would not allow anyone to answer the way he did to them. Some people need to go to jail for the obstruction of justice in this case. Thank you for bringing it to the forefront and also thanks to the person who requested that. Delores Mitchell

Is Sheriff Reed Auditioning for Clarksville Dog Catcher? Thursday Nov. 13, 2008 I was folding a C.T. the other day (a friend saves them for me) to line my garbage can, and a classified ad caught my eye . I noticed that the City of Clarksville is (if I am not mistaken) looking for a Dog Catcher. Today I heard that Terry Reed has been cruising the streets of Clarksville turning in dogs to the City. Maybe the Rumor I heard about Robert Bridges is false if Sheriff Terry Reed is auditioning for the position of Clarksville Dog Catcher. Are you really qualified to be a Dog Catcher, Terry? You know Terry, I know that you can possibly spot a stray dog, but it is certainly impossible for you to spot criminals... especially if you are one wearing a badge.

Judge Harville, I heard that you were asked why we just don't get rid of the U.S. Constitution and the Texas Constitution in Red River County because they get in the way of our Law Enforcement and Justice System. I think that the Commissioners Court needs to just go ahead and repeal both of them just for Red River County. That is the way things have always been done here, "Right" Judge Harville?
